Hi Guys,

I have a 2006 530i Sport with RFT Potentza RE050A's ($335 each!) which are getting old and not giving me much traction in the California rain. I am considering replacing them with non-RFTs and am considering the following:

Potenza RE960AS Pole Position ($191 each): http://tinyurl.com/ybdvgjn
Continental ExtremeContact DWS ($135 each): http://tinyurl.com/ydcp5m4

Anyone have any other recommendations or advice for me before I make my purchase?

Thanks.

-Jerald

I went with the General UHPs and am happy with them as a 3-season tire. The Bridgestone RFTs carry me for the 3-4 summer months. The Conti looks like a contender - especially at that price too.
So, if you decide on the Conti's let us know how you like them.

BTW, If you buy thru the link in my signature you'll earn an additional rebate (5% at TireRack) and other on-line stores.

+1 on General UHPs. Great reviews at TireRack.com, and don't cost that much.
