Need help choosing some tires.

245/40-18

My daily driver, but I have a 4x4 to fall back on, when the weather is really bad. I need something all season though, in case I'm caught in light snow on the way home. I know pilots are some of the best, but I don't want to spend that kind of coin.

Looking at:

Sumitomo HTR A/S P01
http://www.vulcantire.com/cgi-bin/ti...r_as_p01_t.cst

Falken Ziex ZE-912

Thoughts? Any other tires?

Thanks

I've been pretty with happy with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. They're little bit more than $130 (last i checked they were $160) but still a great bargain.

+1. Continental OEMs a ton of tires for Mercedes Benz (and some Porsches and maybe even a few BMWs in some markets), so they know what they're doing when it comes to equipping relatively larger, heavier, and more powerful cars capable of higher speeds. I've also heard lots of positive feedback from fellow Cadillac CTS-V owners, so these will be going on to my 535i when the current set needs replacement.

Sumitomos are a good value also--they're tied up with Dunlop somehow, so often times you see previous generation Dunlop designs repackaged as Sumitomos.
