Question,

1. Do most people use the gas station pump or use your own
2. if your own, what type: bicycle pump, electric pump...

thanks

I use the air from the gas station, but I use my own tire guage to test the air pressure- I don't rely on the one attached to the hose at the gas station.

I usually use my AC compressor. But, sometimes I use my DC BMW Mobility Kit pump--the only DC I have found that will fit on my stems given my wheels.

I use the service station's compressor at the thieving price of 50 cents. Hell, I can't even get air for nothing. Everybody got to make a buck I guess.

The gauge at your BMW dealer is supposed to be controlled each 3 months ! So it's supposed to be fully reliable ! .... Air is free !!
I bought a Dainu gauge inflator with my air compressor, and, compared with the one at my my BMW dealer, it's the same scale (+- 20 gr difference ).
DO CONTROL your tires pressures very OFTEN ! It's very important for your pleasure & your safety !

Personal electric compressor that uses 120V wall outlet power. Much faster and much better than the portable rechargable ones.

I like to do it at the convienience of my own driveway. They're cheap now too like $30 at most.
