In the first time i went to the highway the system warned me that a tire was with problems....
The good think is that i use to read the info here in the forum and as i didn't felt anything wrong with the car, i drove more 20 kms, stopped in the gas station, checked the tires. All the 4 were just fine.
Entered the car reseted the system and continued my trip.

 

35 PSI front and 38 PSI rear. Its a little softer ride than Mark's (38/42). I just have to watch for uneven tire wear. Fuel economy is going to suffer a little bit <_< , but hey, I've been driving around the city almost everyday with no real destination . Any recommendation for non-runflat tires? I have style 124, 18x8 front and 18x9 rear.

I have had the phantom puncture problem as well.
My question is how long does it take to reset the system?
When i pressed the reset in idrive, i waited for ages and it still said "resetting". Should you get a confirmation that reset has worked?
And 2nd question, is there a way to find out which tyre is running low when you get the warning, rather than having to measure all 4 tyre pressures individually?

You cannot know which tyre is flat without physically measuring the pressure.

In order to initialize the system you will have to drive around for approximately 10 minutes.

I was very confused when resetting the system, waited for ages and nothing happened so i just started driving.
I guess i will go and measure the pressures and reset the system again just to be sure.

the few times I've had to reset the system it seemed to take forever. I was on the roadside waiting for what seemed like 10 minutes, and still no reset. Finally I just drove off. I noticed a few moments later that the FTM was active.

 

I've reset two or three times. Once you activate the reset for FTM, you have to crank which goes back to the accept screen. I keep wondering if once the reset is started, how long do we have before we drive the ten minutes to finish activation.

Sometimes it is not convenient to just fire it up and drive for ten minutes. Could it be done like the next day?

 

"If it can't" you could simply choose to re-set it again the next day?
It ought to be pretty easy. Either that, or you could just wait until you actually have time to drive those 10 minutes
