Hello everyone, noob here, just got me a nice blk on blk 06 525i, had a quick question, please help!!!!
Wanna change my wheels, they are 18's, I have been looking for info on the tire pressure sensors and mainly it looks like my 06 doesn't have one and i wont need it if i change the wheels, it seems that from 07 and up they do come with actual sensors, can someone here just assure me that My 06 525i doesn't have the actual sensors and that I dont need them with my new wheels? also would my tire pressure system work?

My Ride: 2006 530d M Sport, Carbon Black, 18" 135M Alloys
If it's anything like mine ('06 530d M Sport) - the monitoring system is part of the ABS, no actual sensors in the wheels. It just detects if one wheel is rotating at a different speed to the others, indicating you have a problem, and most likely a puncture.
