Anyone else having a problem?

zen, do you have the Acrobat add-in installed in your browser? Do any of the other .pdf files in the Technical Gallery work for you?

It always worked before. I always had it set to open in Adobe and not in the browser. Since the last update it will not let me set it up that way any more.???

I'm runnig IE 7.0 with all the add ins.

Another project to work on.

At the very least, it should open in the browser. I'm using IE 7 as well and it's working fine (although I may not be on the latest version of Acrobat...)

Here in the states the FCC controls and allocates the frequency bands. Some times they have chosen to auction off these bands to the commercial world and lo and behold they interfere with Civil or DoD bands. We have such a thing going on right now in the world of MISSILE DESTRUCT systems. But I would not worry about it, just stay clear of Cape Canaveral or Vandenberg AFB.

Rudy, Off the subject: I reinstalled acrobat and now it works in the browser. What "add-on" are you refering to. I searched all the 'add-on" in IE7 but didn't find anything regarding 'acrobat"?

Under Tools|Manage Add-ons|Enable or Disable Add-ons, you'll see a list of "add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer." In that list, there may be an object named "AcroIEHlprObj Class" (publisher is listed as "Adobe Systems, Incorporated." If you pull down the "Show:" drop-down box, you can select "Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer" to see all the add-ons available. In that list, you'll probably see an object called "Adobe Acrobat Control for ActiveX."

I don't know which one does what but either way, I'm glad it's working for you now...

Rudy, Thanks a bunch. It seems like you always come thru no matter what.

It seems that the add-on (Adobe PDF reader link) got installed when I reinstalled Acrobat.
