I have a sport pkg with Dunlop Runflats. I just checked the pressure, figuring maybe he was right. the door sticker says 32/38 with 4 passengers.. i checked the pressure, and it was 40-42 in the front, and 46 ish in the rear!

isn't that VERY high. how could I get such a nice ride with pressure that high!

what do you guys run?

I run the standard pressure. If you go too high you can wear out the tread in the middle of the tire.

I found I was running VERY low for quite some time :bashwall: . The run-flat structure most likely saved my A$$ as I took some pretty fast corners not realizing the pressures.

NOTE: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PRESSURE! Even (especially) when new!

I am now running a little higher than "recommended" but that's due to my driving style . I don't mind a little harsher ride (having had a few M3's) and prefer to keep the tires on the wheels. Higher pressures have been recommended at every autocross and track event that I've been at. I also don't look to squeeze every last mile out of my tires. I typically will wear out the outer edges well before the centers... even with the higher pressure - gotta love the corners! (buy stock in tire companies). :bashwall:

Try a search for "tire pressure", today and older parameters.
You'll find what you need to know.
