i forsee getting 0 replies from this one...

BUT! -- does anyone know what tire pressure to use with low pro tires?

my stocks were around 35 psi -- and i remember the first time i got my 19's on the people that installed them had them at different pressure

since replacing and now putting htem back on over the months i've forgotten what that pressure was -- for some reason i'm thinking it was in the low 40's

does anyone have any reccommendations?

There's no set pressure! I've got 19" on my 5er and I still put in 36! BMW usually recommend 32 but I think it's more responsive - the tires - with higher pressure! But, again, you're compromising ride quality but... I like it! It's down to personal preference!

I run 36 front / 41 rear - this is what the manual states for a fully loaded car (5 passengers + luggage). It rides firm with the sidewalls stiffened by the higher pressure, and the tread is wearing very evenly. I always have to leave a postit note on the dash with my tire pressure preferences whenever she goes in for service.

YMMV,
Randy...

Check your driver door post for the recommended tire pressures for your car.

I always run higher than the door jam. Personal preference... M5 19's I run about 38 front 41 rear.

38/42 for my 166's....

@Luigi: his door jam might not state 19" recc'd psi's as that is not a standard size for non-M5 e60's....

For Nitto Invo tires I found it strange that it said do not exceed 40 or 42 max psi. I was like... wha! Seeing as how most people fill it close to 40. I believe those tires were lowered to 35psi.

Then you need to lower it... the ones I run are MAX at 51 PSI

Got that - but some people think the "maximum inflation pressure" marked on the tire sidewall is what they should run.
