Tire pressure for 530i sport

Greetings!
I have just become the owner of a 2004 530i 6 speed, sports package and more, with outstanding performance (compared to my beloved ?85 535i).
I have a question on tire pressure. The tire combination I have seems a bit unusual and does not fit the specs on the door guide.
Front: 245/40R 18 93Y
Rear: 245 40R 18 93W
The front tires are not even listed on the door jamb, and the rear tires seem to be referenced for the front.
The very attractive Uber Fraulein at my dealer says to put 38 in both, but this does not fit the specs in any way.
I am in Virginia where it is usually 90 degrees most days.
Do I need to change the placing of the tires?
