Just took delivery of my 545i a couple days ago (will post pics shortly). I can't seem to get a straight answer regarding the correct tire pressure. Anybody know the real answer? (I have Dunlop RF's / Sport Package)

Thanks!

Do you have reason to believe that what's written in the door sticker is not reliable? Please let me know, as I had some reservations (see my previous thread: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?show...9717&hl=tires)

The sticker on the drivers B pillar says 36F/44R--that's what I've been using. The manual has other numbers, but I assume they put the most current info on the sticker.

I spoke with BMWNA this am....after several minutes of researching my inquiry, I was told that the door sticker (33F/38R in my car) is the high speed/full load Euro rating, and that the recommened in the USA is somewhat lower (that's why the owner's manuel reads lower. Somewhere between 29 and 38, depending on speed and load, I'm figuring.....anybody think this is NOT correct?

Stoley, my 2006 manual lists all the models based upon tire and wheel size and loads. If memory serves, there were three acceptable inflation pressures per setup based upon anticipated speed and load. If you want, I can dig this info up tonight and post it.

Previous discussion with photos of door stickers in This Thread

There was a change from MY04 to MY05 in the door stickers for the US, but no change in the manual.
