Tips for beige fllor mats

So, I have the AW with beige interior. I absolutely love this color combo but the mats are a nightmare to keep clean. Literally, after shampooing it takes one trip and the mats are smudged and filthy (adults, no children to blame). I recently bought the black mats to help and they are great but they just dont look as good. Any tips on how to keep them clean. I bought a bottle of scotchguard but it states "not for carpets" Your help would be much appreciated.

I have always had rubber mats placed over the original carpet mats and they have worked well for me. The Rubbermaid mats (~$20) that I have bought have, on an average, lasted me 2 yrs.

I have the tan interior too and the black AW mats, I like the way the black mats compliment the upper dash, steering, and misc black items in the interior.

i use beige rubber mats on a daily basis and when i have a special dinner or going out to a nice place with my gf, i just remove the mats for that day then place them back the next day. Works great !!!

I share your pain with the beige mats - mine are now in a sack in the garage and won't go back into the vehicle until it's time to part ways. Spent some money on the Weathertech mats, in black, and have been very happy with their fit and function.

I can't really answer your question, but I can recommend all weather mats. They are so easy to clean, just take them out and spray them down. And if you get the right ones it will actually look good

If you stay with beige, the only thing to be done is just to buy new ones every year. They're only $149 or something (that's like, what ... one less cup of Starbucks per week) - not a big deal to keep your E60 looking sharp.
