Of course the manual says to use a scan tool, which I dont have. I have read that I can drive around and "slam" the brake. Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

If you want to bleed the fluid in the ABS then you need a scan tool to activate the ABS.
If not then bleed like regular then find gravel road and brake till ABS cycles couple of times then rebleed again

Thanks, I think I'll give that a go. If anyone has done this without a scan tool and used the "slam on the brakes" method, please give me some advice. I'll give it a shot next weekend.

The ABS module effectivey isolates the brake fluid it holds during flushes. One idea is to find a wet or other poor traction surface and slam on the brakes AFTER flushing. This activates ABS, open the ports in the module and circulates the fluid. Some anal retentive types even say to re-bleed the brakes afterwards. I think the whole thing is overkill. You've replaced the vast majority of the oil, so what's the big deal? Kinda like needing to get every drop of coolant out.
