I have noticed several postings on random throttle hesitations. I don't remember ever seeing notice that it's been fixed. I have had my car in for this a couple times with no resolution.
Well, my dealer called me and said BMW knows about the issue and can fix it. I dropped off my car today. He said they had to order some new "modules" for it and BMW was sending them a laptop with special software to fix it. He said they had to mail the laptop to the next dealer when they were done with it.
While it sounds kind of kooky (to me), I'm hopeful this will finally resolve the issue. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it's pretty annoying.
I'll let everyone know when I get the car back on Monday.

Ditto here, but not as severe as before. It was completely gone for a while after a certain sw update. So strange.

My problem was also temporarily fixed with 15.2 and has returned. Please let us know if the new repair fixes the problem.

I had that problem too, with 15.2 it's gone. But is it a SW or modullator problem. The gas pedal is no longer mechanically likned as in the e39. It's electronically controlled, my e46 was like that too, but only when I drive. My wife never gets the lag when she drives my e46 or e60.

Humm I think it was gone cause when they did the software update they cleared the ECUs memory so it has to relearn your driving style and along with that it relearned the throttle delay.
Note: MINIs had a stumble on start up and same thing happened... it goes away if you disconnect the battery and then after a while relearns the stumble... eventually it was fixed with V36.
