I've been going through all types of car issues lately and my frustrations are mounting.

-Just got her back with my new wheels painted (had to be painted twice because the first time they put them on and weren't all dry...i didn't notice until after driving)
-Long fight with BMW about seat heater (finally got this resolved free of cost -- still need to bring it in though)
-Just had my Trans-pan replaced

-Needed to replace my valve gasket -- my mech. is a real good guy (Gary Martin, Martin Motorsports) -- he said what he'd charge but said he thought I could do it and told me the right way ... this is technically my 2nd try ...the first time i just didn't bolt the thing down correctly

well this time around i did everything as instructed, completely clean ... on my final round of tightening -- one of the threaded bolts snapped off

I have NO idea what to do about this? Anyone offer up any suggestions that'd be great...

Was it a stud or a bolt that snapped? You can purchased a tool called an EZ-out at most tool stores. It consists of a set of hardened drill bits and another type drill bit that has reversed "threads", the EZ-out part, to grab the bolt/stud. Basically, you drill a pilot hole into the bolt/stud, then use the matched size EZ-out bit to thread into the drilled hole. You then back the bolt/stud out using the ez-out that is threaded into the drilled out bolt/stud. where are you located?

You need to get an EZ-OUT kit. BE CAREFULL as the bits are very very brittle. They break really easy.
