My Ride: 2005 E60 BMW 525i - BIRTHDAY- 11/04 - EXTERIOR- Amethyst Gray Metallic. INTERIOR- Beige Dakota Leather w/Dark Poplar Grain Wood. OPTIONS- Automatic Transmission, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, 6-disc CD changer, Bluetooth using Verizon Raza V3c phone, SIRIUS Satellite Radio. ADD-ON's- 545i Chrome Grill, Euro Red Reflectors, Factory all-weater matts & Factory Coat-Hanger.
Anyone have or has driven an 05 745i that can tell me what they think about the car in general?

I would actually get the 550 or 545, however its not on the list. One car that you have missed which also has kudos is the Jag. thats just class!

yes my dads got a E65 745i and well i think, you should stick to the E60 the E65 Consumes fuel rapidly, and if your stepping on a bit then it goes even quicker, i recommned keeping the E60, And the merc, well thats a joke........mercedes quality isnt what it use to be in the early ninetis

but your right the quality scares me plus in my area there is only on dealership and I realy crazy about them and they are very snooty as well.

For what it's worth, consumer reports indicates that the 5-series has average reliability while the 7-series has poor reliability.
Looks like reliability for the 7-series may have improved for 2006, but before then things look pretty bleak.

WOW tight race 7's across the board for votes (is that a sign to get teh 7?) 33.33% for all 3 car's so far? SO no reviews about the drive from the "i" from anyone ?
