Hello!

I'm thinking of buying a BMW E60 530iA 2003-2004, but I have some questions about some options.
How can I see if a car has the Logic7 sound system and which navi system it has?
Is there a big difference between the sport seats and the comfort seats? Which are the best?

I'm thinking of this car: http://www.mobile.de/SID6G2PK0lzThSICNBdJR...1268526331&

It has: Sunroof, sportseats, xenon, navi (don't know which) cd-changer, PDC, heated seats, phone.
Do I need anything else?

If a car has the business navi, can it still have the logic7 soundsystem?
Is the professional Soundsystem the same as logic7? From which year was the logic7 available.

Thank you for your answers and info...

Go into Idrive under entertainment. Scroll left and one of the options will be to turn on the logic 7. It will give the option theatre, or concert.

This is as much a question of personal pref. as color. You need to sit in both and see how they feel, and not just for 10 seconds.

The easiest way to find out if it has Logic7 is to start at the main iDrive screen (press "menu") and then press the controller straight down to access the "i" settings menu. On that menu, I think you'll see an option for audio. From there, you'll see things like balance, fader, tone, etc. What you're looking for, as bhorne mentioned, is a surround menu. Select that and you'll find Concert Hall or Theater. You'll also notice in the lower-right corner of that screen that it'll say "Logic7". The Logic7 was available in the US from the beginning and yes, I think it's also referred to as "professional" in other markets.

As far as navigation goes, in the USA we don't have business navigation, only professional nav or none at all. I don't know exactly what a business nav car looks like (someone else should be able to help with that) but I do know that a professional nav car has a screen that is 8 or more inches across and fills the entire dash cutout area. Cars without navigation in the US have a smaller width screen with a few inches of blank space on either side of the dash cutout.

Seats -- JSpira is right, you really need to see for yourself if your comfortable. One thing that's pretty agreed on is that the comfort seats are superior to the others but many people are satisfied with the sport seats so don't assume you won't like them until you try them.

Hopefully someone more familiar with cars outside the US will chime in here and help you out more...

Navigation Business: 6.5 inch display, "Navigation directions are displayed by directional arrows and voice output"

Navigation Professional: 8.8 inch display, "...split screen functionality. Navigation display can be either MAP or directional arrow or both simultaneously"

So if you want to see maps, you need Nav Professional. If you are ok with directional arrows only, you just need Nav Business. In Australia anyway...
