ct550 and ch7656, if you don't mind me asking, could you share the name of the dealer you got your cars at? I'm in the hunt for a 550 as well and a lot of the cars are listed at $40-45K+. There seems to be a lot of wiggle room in the pricing.

dont know that we are all speaking of the same things...

CPO is 100k warranty (break fix)
Maintenance is well maintenance also to 100k (all scheduled)

It seemed (maybe I'm wrong) that the two were getting confused

As for the rate I'll be in 3% range from my CU so I'll take the standard rate from BMW financial for 30 days and switch it

Thanks for the feedback guys

I dont think it is so much the dealer as it is how you shop for the vehicle, who you talk to and what you say....the car I'm buying was also listed at $45K+

That said drop me an im - give me your contact information and I would be happy to talk to you

the trick with a CPO is that if you can buy it at the end of the factory warranty (either time-wise or at 50k miles or near), you can get a great deal on a CPO car. most 550i's will be close to 40k under normal circumstances.

Would not being covered in factory warranty be a good thing for used BMW? How much saving are we talking about here?

thanks

Are you suggesting buying a car used and then have it CPOedby the dealer? I didn't know you could do that.

Actually would prefer to get a car still under the original warranty.
