I drove my 528xi 2008, pretty hard (not crossing 6k) and notice thick white smoke. It is pretty cold here and my car usually smokes a bit because of the stream from combustion. But today it was very diffrent and thick, it was happening on idle aswell, so i stoped and let the car go into "sleep" after restart car was normal. When the thick white smoke appeared the car was slighty shaking and had rough idle, possibly misfire? there are no code and no white smoke anymore, just the normal steam.

Just wondering why this happened and is this something i should have checked out.

Seafoam it, should remove some of the gunk build up. After that keep an eye on the smoke. If it doesn't it again, could be the head gasket.
