Wow, i hope my valve cover is ok when i go to change my gaskets!! The tech should have noticed if the cover was bad...if he just put in on a flat surface and looked, it should have been pretty obvious.

I'm sure the adjuster haggled the price for the valve cover since the tech should have checked it out. I'll get her back tomorrow and ask the sa which side.
