Hi all

had my car cleaned today and when I got home i noticed these wires what are they and is it dangeours

Those are the wires underneath your rear seats right? I took out my rear seat once and I saw those too. I guessed that they were either the sensor to tell you that someone is in the seat and needs to put on their seat belt, or they are the prewiring for heated/ventilated seats. Just a guess though.

There's no seatbelt warniung for the rear passengers.
My first guess was the seat heater.

Oh, it's a standard feature on new E60
I found one on mine, too, and I tucked it back it. It's under right rear seat (2-input connector)

Yeah it is the right rear seat but i dont have heated seats

Probably a pre-wiring.

In any case, your question was if they're supposed to be out there, and the answert is NO.

So you can pull the rears setas up and look what they're for and put them away, or let your dealer do it.
