What i do is keep my seat settings on Memory 1, and then a setting to come out of the car with the seat back on Memory 2.
That way when i want to get out of the car I press M2 and the seat goes back, when i get in I press M1 and voi l?! its not as good as having an automatic feature, but i think it works that way for safety so you dont hit something behind the seat accidentaly when you open the door.
If you choose to do it this way, try to press the M buttons with the door open so you dont have to hold them for the seat to take its place

you are right, you have 2 memory settings for each key. Just give your wife the other key and you can move your settings with no worries!
But then... are you sure you want to give her a key??
