The Eagle Asymmetric under discussion here is a brand new tire... No one has meaningful aging info on this specific tire.

They may be talking about other, older tires as Goodyear makes a number of tires with Eagle and F1 in the product name. The Eagle F1 and Eagle F1 GS-D3 for example are completely different tires and the Asymmetric adds yet another completely different but similarly named tire.

The F1 Asymmetric is well worth a look:

Pehaps it is a defferent one but the Eagle F1 GSD3 has been out in Australia since at least 2006. There was an issue that Goodyear manufactured some in Thailand which may have been an inferior compound but not sure about that.

Definately balance and alignment issues with these have been reported here but of course not in all cases.

Yep, the F1 GS-D3 and the F1 Asymmetric are completely different tires. The Asymmetric is the newer tire.

boo... these tires don't come in sizes for 166M wheels. i was looking at 245/35/19's which they carry, but not anything for the rear 275/30/19. any recommendations for tires other than the Mich PS2s in 19s (specifically 166M wheels)?
