You have to spec the TV function in UK, its expensive at ?610 considering it doesn't have teletext but is multistandard and works anywhere, it also means aftermarket video input is a greater possibility eg DVD changer, I have an option for DVD drive on my entertainment screen but haven't checked to see if it will play a dvd yet!

BMW advertises the TV function as Teletext compatible. Right?
I'm upgrading my car next month and expected teletext to be available!

I thought it came with teletext but I cannot find the feature nor any mention in the brochure, I know E46 and E39 TV function had it but seemingly not E60, don't know if E65 has it

yeah, too bad it isn't available here in US. It's because we shouldn't be distracted. But then hey, what is that MAP doing on whilst driving? And hey, what are all those controls and data doing visible too as the car is moving!!!!!

At least you've got it, and are enjoying it! Thanks for sharing the pics and also seeing how the nav works with it as well.....
