TCU...how do I get to it??????????
I always use the realoem.com to find the exact part and part number. So, I'd start from there. You can try posting in classified and see if anyone has one that fits your model. Again, replacing the TCU is very easy. Just a few screws and unplug/plug a few wires. That's it. As long as the BT is enabled, it should work as normal. GL

I wonder if thats even the problem. I also wonder if I unplug the tcu while the static is happening, will the static stop when its unplugged? I guess i'll dig around in the trunk, find it, and try it.Thanks again, i'll keep you posted
(and if you happen to think of something else it could be I'm all ears)

Yeah its to try to fix my static issue...I don't know what else to do!
The car is Hi Fi (standard issue, not an option).
Hmm....so how do I know which TCU to get from ebay? And it still needs to get replaced and reprogrammed from the dealer once I get it, so is it worth the risk of getting something defective off ebay?
What if I unplug the TCU?
