I was in Taiwan last week. I learned from my friends that E60 is
advertised as "New Big 5" in Chinese. That's quite an interesting name!

I also noticed those State Highway Patrols drive E60 cars (520 or 523i) to
catch speeding cars on the freeway.

Yes, they do.
I came from Taiwan.

Taiwan's National Highway Partol has a fleet of Mercedes, BMWs as patrol car.
We call them "Red Zebra", because the regular cop car is painted
in black in white (just like LA county's patrol car). The National Highway Patrol has red stripes painted onto the car.

Last time I was there(two months ago), I even saw one that has
"M-Power" printed on the body. An M3 as patrol car.
