So I take my car in for the regular 60K service this week. I also told them that the front end feels a little loose, especially the left front. The front left suspension makes a "pop" sound/feel every time the car goes across an incline without being fully perpendicular to the road. In other words, I can feel a "pop" whenever the car goes in at a 45 degree angle (one tire on the ramp going up, the other tire still on the flat road)....so whenever the left side of the car isnt on the same plane as the right, I get this pop feeling. I can feel it down by my feet.
I get a call back from BMW saying that my front thrust bars (also called struts I believe) are leaking and need to be replaced....I thought this sounded about right given some of the reading I have done on the forum.
Get the car back and the problem still permits. I have the maintenance warranty so anything with the suspension isnt covered.
Anyone with similar experience?

I just got a response from my SA. He suggested that they can try to "torque the shock tower bolts" at no cost.
Does this sound about right? Anyone?
Thanks,
