After the car wash I noticed some fog on the inside of the headlight glass. After thirty minutes it was gone. It was on both the left and right front headlights?
Is this anything to worry about- see picture below.

If anyone goes to a car wash can you report back to let me eknow if you have this problem?

Same thing happens to me after heavy rain or washing. I believe this is a very common problem.

Same here.. I don't know that this is common thing..
Mine fogs when i wash the car while the engine hot and driving
in a heavy rain.. Noticed that you have LCI headlight..
This should not be happening on a new car!?

I was having that problem in my e39 years ago. I took out the headlight assembly and took some silicon sealant with my finger and ran it along the seams on the light. After that the problem went away.

open up the headlights on a dry day to air them out. the air inside must be real humid, and condenses with the cold water from a car wash.

My headlights were much worse then that and even had water droplets behind the lens, they were replaced under warranty. The new set they fitted though still condense the same as yours when the cars hot and its been raining. I can't see Hella not having picked this up when they designed the lights, it still doesn't seem right to me.

These were the ones that were replaced.

I was beginning to think that no one remembered their middle school science class.

make sure your headlight cover is tight.. like those cover for high beam. sometimes it is loose, which can cause that condensation
