Just stopping by to check in - i still peruse this forum often even after letting go of my e60.

I was thinking about that car this morning, while driving into work in my MB...wondering why the hell my MB car doesnt have a heated steering wheel like my BMW did...buggars!

Prior to purchasing my '06 E55 2 years ago,i drove 550i and though i liked all the extras in that car but decided against it as it wasn't sporty enough for me.
So 3 weeks ago,i was looking for a car for wife and this time around we didn't need performance so we bought a CPO '07 530i with 18,000 miles. The car has pretty much all options including Night vision/Head-up display/heated rear seats (got 2 young kids) not to mention the heated steering wheel (wink) which wife loves it.
Btw i am in Elizabethotwn and i sent you a PM on MB forum when you purchased your E63 but never heard anything back from you.

my steering wheel was flaking so i replaced it not knowing it wasnt heated till now

...got to get me a new heated one

It funny, I take the most crap when I tell people about the heated steering wheel.. But honestly from this point forward I always want a heated steering wheel!!

Agreed. I love my heated wheel. The wifes 335i doesn't have it and I can't stand it.

 

The thing I love the most is that it really gets hot!!!!!! which is great because I grab it in all areas to get feeling in my hands. By the way what is the "cold weather package" I have a 2007 530xi
