Does anyone know a firm producing high quality performance products (like superchargers) for e60 530i (2008, 272HP) or did anyone of you
have an experience installing serious performance boosting stuff on the model above? I asked ESS, but they say they don't support that engine...

i hope you dont mind me asking. but why didnt you buy a 535i instead of the 530. its no supercharger but it has Twin Turbo which can be tweaked to get much more the superchargers. Im asking this because the 535's engined is equipped to handle such power. It has the same 3.0 but equipped differently.

If you install a supercharger on your car, it may affect or damage some things that the engine is not built for.

But if you decide to go that route, you ll be the first I know. GL my friend

I agree with you, its much easier to trade the car in as there are other vairiables to think of, like brakes, drivetrain wear, service intervals! you really need to know your stuff going down the FI route!!!!

They dont have a 535 in europe-that is north america only so 530 is the only option aside from the V8s or the diesels

What's wrong with the 535d? I test drove one and you can harldy tell the difference between the two.

I could have imported one from US, but it will not be taken for warranty service in my country :-(
I could sell my car and import 535 from US (paying around $2K to take it into official warranty service locally), but it will take very long to sell my current ride for price I want (even with deep discount) to afford 535 from US (with additional capital input, of course).

That's why I'm exploring options of just pumping up my current ride in performance (which I like it being fully optioned) instead of losing money by selling it cheap .
