Hello!

For info; I have a 2005 525D Touring with panoramic sunroof.

About a month ago I had the seal replaeced (leakage) and motor drive and control unit replaced for the sunroof.
At the first test at the workshop the sunroof would not close from tilted position, but after on full sequence (by pressing and holding the button for a long time) the roof seemed to work properly. Since it has been winter and bad weather since I have not used it...
Today however the spring is in the air and it is nice sunny weather. So I opened the sunroof (to the tilted position). Upon parking I wanted to close it, but... could not manage. First both roofs went down, but back up again. Then when trying to run the complete sequence there was some sort of small crack at the aft roof. After that the rear roof does not move at all.... No matter what. Only when I push and hold the button, at the very beginning of the sequence it moves a little further up, but does not come back and close at all. so it seems like the pulling forward mechanism works, but it is not pulled back for closing...

I am sick and tired of this sunroof,and soon also the car...


Anyone have some experience with this? I would appreciate it a lot!!
