Sunroof noises

Has anyone experienced the knocking sound from the slipstream deflector (part #2 from diagram) hitting against the glass sunroof when it's raised up. It started to make the noise about a week ago. I'm trying to figure out if something is loosed that causes it to vibrate when car is moving.

Jack,
It's the 2 coil springs on both side where the deflector attaches to the opening. If you slide it back you'll see what I'm talking about.
The part itself is around $ 80 so may be I'll order it and whenever I'm in the mood, I'll try to replace it or break it while trying. Just need to figure out how to remove the part and install the new part it in.
I assume after time, the tension of the spring is a bit loose causing it to vibrate over minor bumps and hitting against the glass roof.

Would love for you to try this to see if it works. I used a temp fix of velvet circle stick pads along the metal bar. Although better, It still makes noise. I hate it!

Will do Medik. Now I just need to figure out how to yank it out without breaking anything. It's a bit tight for my hands. Does anyone know if the Bentley manual has any instruction on how to replace this?
