Sunroof leak

I've noticed recently that I had some spots and old stains on my ceiling and assumed it was just from dirt and dust from keeping my sunroof open so often.
So....I went through a drive-thru car wash yesterday, and upon exiting the facility, I noticed there were large wet spots on my interior ceiling, both on the sunroof shade as well as the roofline. In fact, the wet spots went all the way back to the rear compartment.
My sunroof was entirely shut, all windows were shut, and the sunroof shade was in the closed position.
Needless to say, I am troubled by this. I obviously had not noticed this problem before.
Has anyone had this problem?
As a side note, I have noticed a lot of wind noise from up above even when the roof is fully closed (but with sunshade open). I now keep the sunshade closed to remove the wind noise.
Design flaw?

This is not a new problem for the e60 , your car needs to have new seals installed... Good Luck.

thanks for the info westcoast. Are you referring to seals around the sunroof panel?
I just checked my extended warranty and it looks like seals and water leaks are NOT covered. Which is disappointing. Do you happen to know how much $$ might be involved here?
Was this an early model year issue or do the newer E60s have this as well?
thanks,

Now I know what to suggest to the dealer.
