Don't want to cut or anything. Also, what to do about crappy radio reception?

As for the crappy radio reception, I'd STRONGLY suggest satellite radio! I live in the hills and my regular radio reception is UTTER CRAP!!....so I solved that problem with satellite radio! I hope this helps!

Thanks Puck. However, I live in NYC and my other cars kill with reception. Not sure why the Bimmer is so poor. And, I have SAT radio, but not subscription. Against my religion to spend $ for free radio.

I'd stop in at a couple higher end car audio stores and talk to them. New products are always coming out and some of them have some crazy ideas on how make things fit and still look stock. I'm sure they could find a round about way to get better radio recp. also. Not sure what they changed in the antenna because my 04 545i recp. is outstanding and your not the only one to complain about the recp..

8" Earthquake SWS are a direct replacement for the stock subs under the front seats.

In your opinion - if ur running the same wattage with no new amp...how do your earthquakes bump compared to stock - very noticeable difference?

I've only been looking into doing it so don't have an opinion yet on how they sound. I'd expect a more defined bass rather than louder. It's hard to find subs that fit in stock locations.
