sub enclosure options for E60 with L7
I wanted more bass in the car and added an old 10" powered bazooka I had laying around, but it doesn't sound that great. I even pulled the center ski bag cassette out and that helped a bit but still not satisfied.
So my other option is to get a real sub, enclosure and amp.
That's why I'm here, so guys tell me what my options are for adding a sub.
I want something simple, stealth or stock looking as possible and not to lose trunk space. As long as I can still fit my golf bag then I'm cool.
I was thinking of these below, what would you guys suggest.
1. JL stealth box with some modification since I have the L7 system.
2. custom made box from a local high end shop
3. BSW sub

well i consider my self good when it comes to modifications i have made a few sub boxes and installed them to look like factory. i have logic 7, but i bought the jl stealth box thinking i can just move a few of the factory amps around and make it work, wrong it requires major modification to make that thing fit. For starters the trunk spring is in the way along with both amps, & even when you move all them it still does not fit, and order to make it fit I would have to do some mods to the box, and i was not about to cut on a box i paid $900 for. so i decided to cut my loses and now i am going to just install a small amp for the factory under seat subs. if i were you either have a audio shop do a custom job or live with it.
