I am doing European Delivery for a 550 Sport Carbon Black on black. The car is beautiful, but the Style 172 Wheels are too shiny. They stick out way too much. And there is very little chrome trim on a 550 Sport. I need to do something. Can the wheels be refinished? What finish would look beautiful? Will this violate my lease?

I started a long topic on these wheels. Ended up getting used to them and deciding to keep them. They look best after 100miles of brake dust

A forum member did a chrome shadow or gunmetal finish on the 172s. They look great! His car was the same color, carbon black.

That is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.

wow..that looks great....but too shiny stick out too much I can't say I really agree with that. There are so many "bling bling" wheels out there, I find the 172s have more of a satin finish that's understated yet shows off the wheel just the right way.

Having said that...it's just my opinion! and the gunmetal finish is outstanding....

Yep, the darker wheels look great with the black paint. I agree with you the silver wheels just stand out too much against the black paint.

Heres a side view. Looks 100% better than stock.
