A clear bra is basically a synthetic polymer (plastic) that is placed on the front end and the lights to protect it from paint chips due to road debris. It's clear (obviosly), it does not however protect from minor dents, you will still get pitting, but no paint loss.

Cost is about $300 to $400 to install...ask around

Think of it as a screen protector for your PDA...hope that helps...calling all bra wearing e60 owners...input or other info?

I thought of fitting the clear bra once but was and am still quite afraid of the damage that it may cause your paintwork if you so decide to have it removed.

I know of many Evos using them but never bothered to ask too much.

I have had clear bra installed on my Cayenne....and when u do decide to remove it....it changes the texture of your hood. I can touch adn feel the difference on the hood where clear bra was installed or not. It did not damage teh color though. I had the 3M one put on....wonder if it's the same one as clear bra.

You probably just need to remove the excess adhesive that was used for the bra. After a good buffing it should be okay!

Why the American Jokes, ha?? I'm actually born in Brixton but moved to the States when I was 11. I mean I love old english but no need for the jokes . I miss hearing go get me a cup in the cupboard or hearing the tube instead of the train station. Once in a while I miss london but i'm glad I'm here
