Hoping someone can help. I just recently bought a 2004 525i. The radio when turning on has the mute logo on. The I drive is working but flickers from fm stations and the SAT is no longer working. I so far have tried and no avail.

1) hitting mute button
2) disconnect / reconnect battery
3) use spare key (mute logo went away but still no sound/ logo came back on)
4) code scan (nothing shown)

I cant figure out how to reset i drive with no DVD.

update. replaced Satellite module and still not working (may need coding)?

Any ideas on how to resolve no sound issue.
