I can't get my glove box open. Yes, it's unlocked. It makes a clicking sound but won't open. Do you guys know of a way to open it or do I have to go to the freakin dealer?

 

Just give it a good yank...worse comes to worse you break the mechanism...shouldn't be very expensive to replace and you can do it yourself

 

The lock it quite easily dismantled by pulling it down and inserting a screwdriver to nudge the locking mechanism loose.

It is all but impossible to repair however.

The good news is that my local indy replaced the whole lid for around $80
