Strange white box next under spare tire

I just stumbled onto a small white box with five wires gong into it. It is located under the spare. Any clue to what it is?

It won't work on me; Neither BMW, a western nation, nor anyone else can control me with that little box. I did wonder, however, why my car keeps trying to go right when I turn left.

Wonder what happens if you do disconnect the box ...will my tires fall off and I would be left without a ride?? The western government works wonders i swear..it is possible
