Strange whistle at high speed!
Hello!
Since I have my 530d I have a whistle as soon as I pass the bar of the 200km/h. Its seems to come from the central console! BMW do not know from where the problem can come. Nothing found... Somebody with you it already have this problem? In more it is rather strong!

Welcom on board - Here is the link I started - just to let you know that we are not alone. I am very frustrated with this problem since I can hear it sometime at 85 miles/h and hate to think that the windshield seal needs to be replaced for it to go away ... but it looks like the seal is the problem - so the next challenge is to convince my dealer that they need to fix this for free without scratching the frame ... good luck and rgrds /z

hi,
i had the issue a couple of times and had the dealer exchange the windscreen 2 times.
strangeways it seemed to come back after a while.
now i found out the reason, via i-drive you can select how strong or soft fresh air is transported into the car. if you select soft, it creates that noise. try changing it to medium or strong and the noise shall be gone.
please post some feedback if it helped!
