I get the window thing too.
Ive had this happen in my last 3 BMWS aswell. They don't have a fix for this, they've never had a fix for this.... Ive just gotten use to it.
E30 use to do it. E36 use to do it. E46 use to do it. My bros X5 does it and his E39....Its Crazy.
My dealer tried telling me that the windows are very sensitive, so if anything gets in there way, they will back down like that. (Well nothing has ever been in there way).. Its Crazy I tell you.. Very Frustrating.

Pic of Alohalc and me is posted in the "vacation time" thread in the lounge now.
My car once gave me several warning chime3s and messages when I started the engine... I turned it off, and returned after just five minutes and everything was fine...
But the weirdest thing was probably the stereo, it was turned on when I walked up to my parked car... Probably my car was bored beeing parked...

Welcome to the forum. I have had the same window issue on the driver's side only. It comes and goes, hasn't happened in a couple of months. It is not a big deal, it always ends up closed
