Strange noise ta-ta-ta noise, when car wakes up

I get that ticking noise when I unlock the doors and get in the car...before I even put the key in the ignition...What gives?

This is exactly what mine did. I thought it might a physical w/ the CD player, but then I got updated to 18.0 to remedy the transmission slam and the CD noise issue has not occured since that update. Now I think it was more software related, when the car woke up upon unlocking, the CD player was somehow activated in someway too, causing the noise. So far so godd with 18.0!

This issue was resolved with the latest CIP and was something to do with AS.

May be in your case, but I don't have AS and I definitely had the noise described. And clearly comes from the in-dash CD player. Still, my noise has not occured since my latest upgrade...
