When I turned on the Nav,through voice command, map direction of travel came up and everything was ok,when I got on the Parkway the exit and the miles to the exit came up in the right window and the HUD,the first time this happen after using it the same way many times and I thought it was great to have this feature that I never had before. Now the strange thing, after I got to my destination and got off the Parkway the Nav kept telling me to make a U turn to get back on the Parkway. What could be causing this??
cheers

I'm thinking that the nav system "thinks" you haven't arrived at the destination yet -- even though you did. Not sure if you entered the destination using house number detail or street intersection but I can say that the house number data is not always accurate (it's supposed to help you find the proper "block" but not necessarily the exact location.)

I didn't enter a destination, all I did was thru voice command say Map direction of travel.Thats what makes it so strange. Thanks for the reply.

Maybe there was a prior destination active?

Then again, it would be no surprise that this was just some bizarre software glitch...

Mine will keep doing that until Nav lady say, "You have arrived!", or I punch in to deactivate the destination. Look like Rudy has covered the normal bases. If it's not one of those, you probably have a malfunction.

Had to take the same ride yesterday and tried the Nav in the same manner and it did the normal thing with the voice command,(Map direction of travel).I would guess you are right saying its a software glitch.
cheers
