Ok, I have a 08 535 LCI with an upgraded CCC. I put this in last year and everything seems to work well. Here is the strange thing. Soon after it was up and running I began to store my radio functions in the eight presets. At some point I'm thinking I must have been using the nav and had my home address programmed in when I was doing this. A few days later I pressed the same button again (8) and my navigation came up and initialized as if I had just programmed my home address and then started providing guidance. I thought I must have pressed and held this button during or while in nav mode and accidentally stored it. I used this for a while since it was kinda handy. At some point, I went to use it again and when I pressed the same button my iPod came on but not the nav. Since this time, only the ipod will come on when I press button 8. I have various other buttons programmed for FM, AM and satellite. All of the buttons now seem to hold the memory and the stored feature. I am curious if anyone knows how to re-store a nav point in one of the radio buttons.

Not a 100% sure, here is a shot: go into navigation and put in your home address. Then when it starts guidance, press the button you want to assign it and hold it pressed and after 5ish seconds, it will be stored.

This is a shot in dark as I know nothing about this, but I think 8 presets is too little. I would think there would be about 24 presets. 8 on mode 1, 8 on mode 2 and 8 on mode 3. Usually even most stereos have 3 modes for FM storage. Like I said, shot in the dark. Is there an owners manual for the unit since it wouldn't be available in yours. Maybe that can provide more info.

This. It's on page 21 of the manual.

Ok that got it. I went to page 21 and made sure the map was displayed before holding the button in. Looks like that took care of it. Thanks!!! But I need to read a bit more on the mode button. I don't actually see one but it looks as if I press the button three times it seems to cycle through. Only the one button had iPod when pressed but when pressed again it went to sat radio. Thanks again for the help.

Did you retrofit the CCC? The mode button was on the MASK units from what I remember. Your manual might be referring to the MASK and talking about the mode button.

I looked briefly last night when I got home and was able to get the button to store the Nav point. Not sure what I was doing wrong before since I thought I had tried everything. I don't see a mode button anywhere on this CCC or in the menu so the only thing I can figure out is that each but provides it since there appears to be at least two things stored on some buttons when you press it multiple times. I will have to play around with it today and look in the manual to see if it describes this particular 8 button CCC.
