While driving today I was rolling all of my windows up, so I pulled the switches up all the way to have the windows roll up automatically. However, my driver side windows didn't roll up. so I thought maybe I didn't pull the switch up all the way and pulled it up only to find my window will not go up automatically. To get it up I needed to keep the switch up, so I pressed the switch down for auto down and it worked. I tried a few more times but the same result, the window would not go up automatically. So I called a buddy of mine at Manhattan BMW and he told me it may need to be initialized. So I parked and went to a meeting when I came back ot the car I decided to see if the issue still persisted but it was working again.
For that short period of time really I missed the auto up window. I'm sure we have all become used to the little luxuries of the e60's that we find it difficult to live without.

Nope- could it be something to do with trying to wind all four windows up at the same time? Maybe there was a brief over load
