Strange Audio Gremlins

My Ride: 550i
Model Year: 2007
2007 550i, I just had the latest software update to the I-drive. When I start or turn off the ignition I receive a faint advertisement for about 15 secs. It says something about buying some sort of nav. system.
Anybody else experience this?

My Ride: 2008 530d M sport
on my car its usually just the bmw black screen and logo, so it may be a warning on they have put wrong picture up... get dealer to check it... may need reinstalling or verifying
have you got nav installed as they may have ticked that you have and you havent so its telling you install nav as it detects that its not there

That's the weirdest I've ever heard reported! I think I have the most up to date iDrive firmware but get no commercial announcements on shut down!

Yes, it's certainly very strange. I wonder if it might be something coming through my cell phone? I didn't have this problem before the update.
