strang messages

hi all,
i am experiencing weekly strange messages on my E60,2004.when i run the car for a ride, it shows a message "low oil level".Also it shows dsc malfunction.the oil level was checked before turning "ON" the car and it was at the exact level, and the dsc is working normally.
the thing is that i drive the car only twice a week for the weekend about 80 to 100 kms.could it be a sign of a battery getting dead?
