so the brake lights maybe working, but some sort of electrical issue still may be causing that error to come up. Simply disabling the warning/chime/gong (which most likely can be done via coding) does not address the underlying malfunction/issue.
have you made sure that there are no other possible problems causing that warning to occur?

"Right Brake Lamp Malfunction"
BMW tested the harnesses, the bulbs, everything appears in order.
When it's quiet in my car, it's the most annoying chime ever.
So I just crank my music and ignore it.

I've been looking for an answer for this as well. I've yet to find anything - nothing that could be done through coding, etc. This seems to be the most common reply - and it's geting really old and annoying.
That "ding" is really annoying. It comes up for warning alerts and stuff, for key warning, seatbelt lights, etc. I get the annoying seatbelt light the second I turn the car on, the key in ignition light as soon as I turn the car off, etc.
If someone could provide a way to disable the ding, or maybe even turn the volume of it down, many people will be eternally grateful.

I think I would miss half the messages if not for the chime. Most common one is 37 degrees F, I live in Michigan! I do not know of a way to code around this.
