Well, if you don't want to paint, then live with them. You think that there is some magical way to get rid of the stone chips without painting?
Get a black sharpie marker, that is cheap enough.

 

actually, i was more comparing the bonnet to a condom. the stone chips is the gonorrhea.

 

I got carbon black.. halfords aint got a clue what it is.. they said they would "make one up" for me.. err.. no! I dont think ima trust a 17 year old spotty chav to guess what colour my car is

 

You could get a touchup kit from the dealer to match the colour...but it might end up looking like makeup over acne

A lot of people here have said that 3M clear bra is very very expensive. They are looking for bras in the wrong place. You have to know where to look. Then... Anyway, go on ebay and look up chipgardman. He is good people. He is somewhere in Wisconsin. Less than $200 shipped for bumper, hood, mirrors, parking lights, headlights, rocker panels, etc. If I get a local 3M guy to install the materials, I will have 5 years warr on parts and labor.

I am getting ready to buy 3M for my Trans Am and maybe an 04 TBird with 9,000 miles.

Ive just had my bonnet and bumper painted on my 05 because of stone chips, it wasnt to bad circa ?200 from a good independant and it was finished in the anti chip clear coat that BMW claim to use.
