Well, she's at the dealer's for a week. They wanted to charge me for getting the funky smell removed from the aircondition, but I had the sales department wave that.
TV is not going to happen just yet, as it is not available for retrofit at the moment . Not happy about that, so no bluetooth for a while either.

Last time the dealer damaged an alloy, they're fixing that now, and version 13.1 is being installed (probably 13.2, but what do they know compared to a veteran member of this board.. )

Another session of carbaflowing and the little covers on top of the xenon housings are stuck. Also my cd-changer is going to be replaced. I hope I get the cd's back that are stuck in there. ( guess it's a good thing most people don't like Zappa, it improves the chances of me getting the discs back)

If they get it fixed, and it works, I'll be a happy bunny. (still want an M6 cabrio though)

(BTW, I got a 316i as a loaner. Somebody forgot to put some torque into it. It feels like the bleeding handbrake is on)

Every reason I can think of I will drive it. In 1 month of ownership I have 4.700 kms on it (I know, I should have bought a 530d)..? ? ?

Btw, fancy joining me to the meet in Germany?? I really want to go, but driving the distance alone is braking me up a bit. Maybe you wanna be my co-pilot and we can drive up and down in one day?????

I'd like to go to the meet in Germany - not sure of the logistics though - could we meet part way and drive in convoy. That way if we get a good number we could be in procession all the way to germany - what do you think??

Great stuff, loving mine to bits.

Yesterday I saw a beautiful black 545i in our village - it looked amazing (545i's are pretty rare in the UK).

Jonboy you're a lucky lad, still getting a 997?

Going through the M5 vs 997 debate but coming out in favour of the 997 (at the moment). Whether i get it or not depends on company performance and the uk retail market is getting tough even for the strong performers (except tesco!)

if results are good i should be in a position to put a deposit down in May 05 then wait around, hopefully, for a cancelled order.

That might be a good idea. But I am thinking on driving up on fridaynight, sleeping in a cheap sleesy hotel hehehe. So I am fresh and fruity at noon at the meet.. After the meet I will drive home again.

Total kms up there is around 380 kms for me.

Been there. My deciding factor was simply: do I need a rear seat? (I do, occasionally, as I have a small child and enjoy picking her up and taking her places in the car with my wife from time to time).

Another deciding question: do I want a great GT or a raw sports car?

Either are great choices, no doubt.

Almost 5,000 mi and the car is getting better every day. I'm just getting to the point where I feel comfortable turning off the DSC and sliding her around a bit - it feels like a go-kart. What a blast!

Other than my lousy microphone pickup on my phone, the car has been perfect.
